In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Android platform in Finland witnessed varied performance trends among the top air travel apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Finnair experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at approximately 2.6K and dropping to around 1.6K by the end. However, the app saw fluctuations in active users, beginning at 51.9K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending with a slight recovery to 48.7K.

Viking Line showed a mixed trend in downloads, peaking at 1.6K in mid-October before settling around 1.2K towards the quarter's end. The active user base grew steadily, starting at 11.5K and reaching 13.3K by December.

Tallink Silja Line had a decrease in downloads, from 1.3K at the quarter's start to 926 by the end. Active users, however, showed resilience with a peak in mid-December at 14.7K, before ending the year at 14.3K.

The Norwegian Travel Assistant saw a downward trend in downloads, from 1.3K to just over 580, while active users decreased from 2.6K to approximately 1.6K.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker maintained a stable weekly revenue, peaking at $968 in early October. Downloads showed a sharp increase in late December, reaching 1.6K. The app's active users also rose from 13.9K to a peak of 16.4K by the end of the quarter.
